Blackened Chicken Tenders

Do you like lots of spice? Then you’ll love these blackened chicken tenders. They’ve got the perfect blend of spices including cayenne pepper, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. You certainly won’t miss the breading on these tenders.

You can also have these on the table in just over 30 minutes, so they’re perfect for a weeknight dinner or your meal prep. Serve them with sweet potato fries, roasted vegetables like Brussels sprouts, or toss them on top of a salad.

If you’re a dipper like me, serve these tenders with ketchup, honey mustard, or your go-to condiment. But, trust me, these are delish on their own so you don’t need any of those condiments unless you really want them.

What are you waiting for!? It’s time to cook! ENJOY!

How long do I cook blackened chicken tenders?

These tenders should be fully cooked in just under 10 minutes if you pre-heat your pan over medium-high heat. Cook them for five minutes then flip them and continue cooking for another four to five minutes. They’re ready when they can easily be pierced with a fork. The internal temperature should be at least 165 degrees Fahrenheit.

Is blackened chicken healthy?

I’m not a nutritionist, but I think this is a healthy recipe. You’re using chicken tenders, and white meat is leaner and has less fat compared to dark meat. Plus you’re not using any breading because the spices do all of the work.
