Chicken Tender Lettuce Wraps with Avocado Salsa
Remember those crispy chicken tenders? Here’s a simple way to turn them into a complete meal. That’s right, we’re making chicken tender lettuce wraps with avocado salsa.
For this recipe, you need to make my crispy chicken tenders first — but if you don’t have time and want to use store-bought or frozen chicken tenders, I understand (maybe). And if you want to make this recipe even healthier, fire up your grill or preheat the stovetop for naked tenders.
The fresh, zesty avocado salsa is the perfect compliment to the indulgent chicken tenders. It has ripe avocados, juicy tomatoes, cilantro, and a few other ingredients including jalapeño and Tabasco to kick up the heat level.
To match my chicken tender recipe, this makes four servings for a total of 12 chicken tender lettuce wraps. I think these wraps stand on their own but if you want to serve with a side, black or refried beans would taste delicious.
Are you hungry yet? It’s time to cook! Enjoy!

Tip: Cook your chicken tenders ahead of time to cut down cooking time for dinner. If you have any extra avocado salsa, you can store in the fridge overnight because the acid from the lime juicy will preserve the avocado.
