Tuna Melt Wraps

I love tuna salad because it reminds me of my childhood! If you love tuna salad as much as I do, you’re going to be obsessed with my version of a tuna melt! Bread is great, but using a wrap for your tuna melt balances the carbs and calories plus it’s not as heavy if you prefer a light lunch!

This wrap is classic with heaping spoonfuls of tuna salad plus melted sharp cheddar cheese and greens like baby kale, arugula, or spinach. Use your favorite large wrap (I prefer a whole wheat wrap) and heat it in a pan with your sliced cheese to melt it and toast at the same time!

I like to eat it on its own, but you can also serve with potato chips, veggie sticks, or pickle spears! Enjoy!

What cheese goes with a tuna melt wrap?

I love sharp cheddar cheese with a tuna melt, which is usually the go-to for tuna melts. However, you can really use your favorite cheese or whatever you have in your fridge! This recipe is flexible!

Provolone, Havarti, and Swiss cheeses are good alternatives because they will melt fine, giving you the gooey cheese pull you expect!

How do I make a tuna melt wrap without it getting soggy?

My tuna salad recipe has the perfect balance of dry and wet ingredients (shout out mayo!) so you shouldn’t have an issue!

As long as you toast your wrap first and use your greens as a base between the melted cheese and the tuna salad, you should be good to go!
